Helen Malgas

Counselling Psychologist, Students for a Better Future, South Africa

Helen has 15 years of experience working as a Counselling Psychologist. She has worked in variety of settings including public and private higher education, public health, and the corporate sector. Currently she works in private practice in Plumstead Cape Town and is employed part-time in the psychosocial department of Students for a Better Future a foundation which offers scholarships to high school and university students. In her role at SBF, she designs interventions for scholars and students to promote mental health and supports young in their journey at high school and university. Helen is passionate about seeing people develop to their fullest potential and sees psychology as having a role to play in this process.
