Kate Roodt

Co-Curriculum Coordinator, Stellenbosch University, South Africa

Kate holds a BEd Honours (Educational Development & Democracy) cum laude and currently works at the Centre for Student Leadership, Experiential Education & Citizenship at Stellenbosch University (SU).

Her role as Co-curriculum Coordinator (Experiential Education Advisor) enables her to support the development of curriculum and co-curriculum integration through identifying and collaborating with staff and students around specific interventions and freestanding experiences for academic transcript recognition.

In 2017, Kate obtained a Bachelor’s in Education (Intermediate-Senior Phase) cum laude. She has spent the majority of her years at SU on-campus, residing in residences (undergraduate and senior living space) where she actively involved herself in various leadership structures and experiential learning activities.
